PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one- and one-half story single-family upright and wing residence
has an ell-shaped plan with a projecting open entry porch with shed roof in the interior
angle of the ell, a flat-roofed squared bay on the east side, and a gabled addition
to the west. The two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of two offset front
entrances flanked by two large fixed windows, one on each bay. The entrance on the
gable-fronted bay has a bracketed gable hood. The entrance on the gable-ended bay
is sheltered by a shed-roofed entry porch with sided-over parapet and supports, and a
gablet centering device over the entrance. The frame construction is finished in
horizontal masonite siding and rests on a concrete foundation. The cross-gabled
ro?fqf is covered with brown asphalt shingles and features overhanging eaves and one
set concrete block interior chimney to the west. Outbuildings include a garage
of similar materials.
