PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with.it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This one and one-half story single family residence has a square plan and has
elements of the four-square working man's cottage. A hipped front entry porch
with scaled-down pediment over the entrance has squared columns and wooden ballistry.
The facade also includes a central entrance and flanking fixed windows at the first
level and a single double hung one' over one window in the front facing gable end
which projects from the steeply pitched gabled roof. The frame construction is
finished in beveled siding and rests on a concrete foundation. The hipped roof
is covered with asphalt shingles and features a front facing gabled dormer and
a side facing shed-roofed dormer. A metal stovepipe rises off left center. The
north facing shed dormers are more recent additions. The gable roofed frame two-
car garage is detached and at the rear of the lot.

Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
