PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This two-story single-family residence has a square plan with projecting gabled
front bay and enclosed entry porch. The facade consists of a recessed entrance
and fixed and sliding-sashed windows. Its frame construction is finished in
masonite siding and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered
with asphalt shingles and features a six-sided cupola with six windows. The
axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. This house was remodeled in
1975 from a seven-room to a ten-room structure. Its historic features have been
obscured. Other modern features include plywood porch enclosure, yellow brick
porch skirting and modern metal porch support at the entrance.. A rear shed
addition and a detached garage with asbestos shingles are located in the rear
of the lot.
