PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a square plan with a front
facing cross-gabled bay and a hipped entry porch with turned columns. There is
also a rear gabled one-story bay. The facade features an offset entrance and
fixed window on the first level and a pointed drop arched recessed door with
side lights entering onto the roof top area of the front entrance porch. Although
facing Eighth Street, the house is situated on a corner and the side features
include fixed and double-hung windows on the first floor and a projecting hip-
roofed bay window on the second level. The frame construction is finished in
asbestos shingles and the foundation is not visible. The cross-gabled roof is
covered with asphalt shingles and features two brick chimneys - one central and
one placed to the side. Outbuildings include a detached garage to the rear.

Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any
significant historical information concerning persons or events
associated with this property.
Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a
potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect
of the Civic Phase of Bozeman' s historic/architectural development.

property.
The historic integrity of this property has been retained due to the survival
of original design and continuity of use, setting and location.
