This one and one-half story single family residence with elements of the Bungaloid style has a square plan with recessed porch. The facade consists of fixed and double hung windows with one over one sash arrangement, broad central stairs leading up to the porch with posts and parapet and offset front entrance. A pair of double hung windows in the front facing gable end has a projecting shingled "A" frame effect. The frame construction is finished in bevel siding with square cut shingles and rests on a cinderblock foundation. The gable roof is covered with asphalt shingles and features a central chimney, a metal stove pipe to the side, gabled dormers, returning eaves and a rear-facing shed-roofed dormer. The shingles covering the gable end extend in a band around the side under the roof line. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. A detached garage is set back to the rear of the lot. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing elements within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
