PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance, noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features. This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has an irregular plan with a gable-shed roofed front corner porch supported by a turned wood post, a shed-roofed addition to one side, and a gable-shed roofed addition to the rear of the structure. The facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance with double-hung 1/1 windows in the upper floor and fixed windows on the main level . The frame construction is finished in white wood drop siding, with a unique front bay design of diagonal-cut windows on the main level under the fan-design squared upper level . The gable roof is covered with weathered grey- brown cedar shingles and has a central stovepipe. The axis of the main roof is perpendicular to the street. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
