This one-and-one-half story Victorian hosue presents what was once apparently its side to the street, which now parallels the axis of its wood-shingled gabled central block. The house was moved on to the site in 1978-1980, and the structure gained a new basement and had its once front-facing gable end contour changed to an offset gable in order to provide windows in the attic story. A veranda with attenuated columns which once extended from side to opposite side, now extends from front to rear. A gabled bay with returning eaves and spindle ornamentation provides the center of interest for the newly-oriented "facade" . The orginal weatherboard siding remains.
