PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,

This detached one-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with
an addition to the rear extending sideways to the garage. The front facade
has a hipped porch with wood post supports and a solid railing. Windows
are fixed with wood storm windows. The frame construction is covered with
asphalt shingles (although the woman living there says the original structure
is of logs) , and sits on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered
with grey asphalt shingles and has a metal stovepipe. The axis of the roof
is perpendicular to the street.
