This detached one-story single-family residence has a T-shaped plan with a shed-roofed open front porch. The two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance with fixed, 1/1 double-hung and casement windows. The frame construction is finished in asphalt shingles and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with green asphalt shingles and features boxed eaves and a metal stovepipe. The axis of the main roof is perpendicular to the street. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structurelsite and surrounding area lend the property significance. This residence property was built by and for Alfred Lycan, a local builder, probably as. a rental. Ke held the property until 1894.
