Discuss significant architectural features. This detached two-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a recessed front entry and hipped-roof addition on the south. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-center front entrance with double- hung 6/6 or 1/1 windows. The frame construction is finished in 6" drop siding and rests on a low concrete foundation. The gambrel roof is covered with grey-green asphalt shingles and features a shed roofed dormer across the front. There is one central brick chimney. The axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Outbuildings include a detached gambrel-roofed garage in the rear. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning personsor events associated with this property. Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Progressive Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
