PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions, alterations, and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a square plan with enclosed
front entry porch and an attached garage at the north (rear) part of the structure.
The facade consists of fixed and double-hung windows with one-over-one sash arrange-
ment, a transomed front entrance and a flagstone wain_scoting effect around the
enclosed front entry porch. The frame construction is finished in aluminum siding
and rests on a concrete foundation. The gabled roof is covered with asphalt
shingles and has two large gabled dormers, one facing south and one north. The
symmetrically placed hipped entry porch extends from the front-facing gable end
and a hipped bay window projects from the south side. There is a central chimney
with a concrete exterior. The eaves are overhanging. The front enclosure of the
entry porch appears to be a later addition as does a flagstone base. The
aluminum siding also obscures the original materials.
