PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structureisite,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This one and one--half story single family residence has a square plan with projecting
front gabled bay and an enclosed front entry porch. The facade consists of fixed
and double hung one over one windows, double gabled fronts both fenestrated and
a low enclosed entry porch. The frame construction is finished in beveled siding
with corner trim and shingles in the gabled ends. The house rests on a concrete
foundation. The steeply pitched gable roof is covered with wood shingles and
features a central brick chimney both front facing gable and have returning eaves.
A diamond-shaped window is featured on the south side. The axis of the gabled
roof is perpendicular of the street. -At the crests of the two gabled roof are
metal ridge poles. The enclosed porch is a later addition. A detached two-car
garage with bevel siding and gable roof is placed at the rear of the lot.

district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic
Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
