PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This one-and-one-half story single-family residence has elements of the Bungalow
Style. Its plan is square with a front entrance porch and a rear garage addition.
The facade consists' of offset front entrance to one side and three double-hung one-
over-one windows to the other. The entrance is accessed by stairs with a metal
rail leading to the parapetted porch with its square posts. The frame construction
is finished in weatherboard and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof
is covered with asphalt shingles and features overhanging eaves. The axis of the
roof is perpendicular to the street. The garage mentioned is an alteration that
was added later.

Research -in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any
significant historical information concerning persons or events
associated with this property.
Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a
I potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect
of the Progressive Phase of Bozeman ' s historic/architectural development.
