PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a square
plan with a half-open, half- enclosed projecting porch which has a gable
roof. This roof an an arch defining the entry, returning eaves and is
supported by two round columns. The three-bay facade is symmetrical and
consists of a central glass-paned front entrance with 8/8 and 6/6 double-
hung windows in the dormers. The first story windows have wood shutters.
The frame construction is finished in shingles and rests on a concrete
foundation. The gable roof is covered with wood shakes and features two
gabled dormers and a central brick chimney. The axis of the roof is parallel
to the street.

Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any \
significant historical information concerning persons or events
associated with this property.
This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic
district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Nationali-
zation Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
