This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with an attached side garage and recessed entry. The single-bay facade is symmetrical and consists of a central transomed front entrance with a pediment and 8/12 and 8/8 double-hung windows. The first floor windows have shutters. The frame construction is finished in weatherboard and rests on a low concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with grey asphalt shingles and features two gabled dormers and boxed eaves. There are two brick chimneys. The axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Additions include a second story extension to the rear. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance.
