PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions, alterations, and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence in the gothic
cottage style has a rectangular plan with dominantly protruding front entrance
gable roof and exposed rafter ends. The roof is curved over the rafter ends
of the entrance. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-
center glass-paned front entrance with 3/1 double-hung windows. There is an
arched window over the door and a small arched window to the left side of the
door. The frame construction is finished in stucco and the foundation is of
concrete. The gable roof is covered with red and green asphalt shingles and
features two brick or stucco chimneys , one interior and one exterior. The
axis of the roof is parallel to the street. There is natural rockwork on
topof the chimney and in front of the house which seems to be an alteration.
Outbuildings include a detached double shed.
