This detached one-story modern building has a rectangular plan with a large front entry with five wood beams extending over the entry and supported by five square columns. The frame construction is finished in shingles and stucco and sits on a concrete foundation. The dramatic roof is a combination of hipped, flat and flared eaves that extend two stories high. There is one central interior chimney. The axis of the roof of one wing is perpendicular to the street with the main body of the structure lying parallel to the street. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance.
