This structure is identical to 221 South 8th. This one-story single-family residence
has a square plan and a symmetrical facade consisting of central entrance with
bracketed gable hood, two flanking fixed windows, stairs to access the three-light
front door, which appears to be original on this one. Its frame construction is
finished in asbestos shingles and rests on a concrete foundation. The gabled roof
is covered with asphalt shingles and features exposed rafters, overhanging eaves
and a metal stovepipe offset to the rear. The axis of the roof is parallel to
the street. A two-car garage at the rear of the property appears to be shared
with the structure on the ajdoining lot which is almost identical to the house
just described.
