PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance, noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features. This detached one-story single-family residence with elements of the bungalow style has a gable roofed projecting porch supported by turned-wood posts. The one-bay facade is symmetrical and consists of a central glass-paned front entrance with fixed double-hung windows of a 6/6 sash arrangement. There is a 12-paned fixed window in the front. The frame construction is finished in bevel siding and rests on a low concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with grey asbestos shingles and features overhanging eaves and exposed rafters. There is one offset exterior brick chimney. The axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Outbuildings include a barn and a garage. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Nationalizatio Phase of Bozeman' s historic/architectural development.
