PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes In materials.Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-story single-family residence with elements of the Queen Anne
cottage style has an irregular plan with a porch on the northeast corner. This
porch has a turned wood column and a bead and .dowel decoration. The two-bay
facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset glass-paned front entrance
with double-hung 1/1 windows. The main entry vestibule contains a small
flashed glass window. The frame construction is finished in drop siding with
shingles in the gable ends and it rests on a rubble foundation. The gable
roof is covered with green asphalt shingles and features finials. The axis of
the roof is perpendicular to the street. Additions include a rear porch and
deck added in 1980. Outbuildings include a garage of drop siding built in 1894
and a garage built in the 1920s with a flat built-up roof.

associated with this property.
This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic
district due to Its association with the residential aspect of the Civic
Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
