This detached one-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a corner recessed porch which has enclosed solid railings and concrete steps with wrought-iron handrail . The single-bay facade-As asymmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance with fixed and 3/1 and 5/1 double-hung windows. There is also a bay window on the south side. The frame construction is finished in beveled siding with cornerboards and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with cedar shingles and features over- hanging eaves and exposed rafters. Theres is one central brick chimney. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
