This detached on-story single-family residence has an ell -shaped plan with an open front porch under a gable roof and supported by two wood posts. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical with an off-center front entrance with 1/1 double-hung windows. The frame construction is finished ! in shingles and rests on a cut-stone foundation. The gable roof is covered with asphalt shingles and features one central brick chimney. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. Matt Cohen 211 Lindley Place jRevision 1985 A fine example of the "Shotgun" house type, this simple building is generally well preserved, with the exception of the replacement door, and wood shingle siding. It may have been built to house a worker at the lumber mill across the street, which is shown in the 1884 Bird's Eye view of the district. The 6/6 sash windows provide a' clue to the considerable age of the structure. In 1927, Emil Schull, a "laborer", and his wife Laura Schull, were the residents here. The house has an open front porch under a gable roof with a pediment that is supported by two square wood posts. The one-bay fagade is asymmetrical with an off-center front entrance and a 6/6 double-hung window. The frame construction is finished in wooden shingle siding and rests on a cut stone foundation. The gable roof is covered with asphalt shingles and has a perpendicular axis to the street. It features overhanging eaves. There is one central brick chimney and one central stovepipe chimney(on the L-part of the house). There is a later addition in the back of the house. It is finished in wooden siding and has a gable roof with overhanging eaves and is covered in asphalt shingles. i o ,
