Revision 1985
One of four impressive examples of the Bungalow style in the district attributed
to local carpenter J.H. Mimmack, this one may have been built as the residence
of Mimmack himself, and his wife Della Mimmack. The house is very similar to
208 Lindley next door, also attribute to Mimmack. That house however, has lost
its massive stuccoed porch piers - once virtually identical to these. The signifi-
cance of this well preserved house is therefore increased, since it provides
a clue to the original appearance of that house. another of Mimmack's Bungalows,
306 Lindley, may also originally have resembled this one.
