This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has an ell - shapted plan with an open shed-roofed front porch on one corner. The two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance with fixed and 1/1 double-hung windows. The frame constructon is finished in bevel siding and rests on a rubble stone foundation. The gable roof is covered with blue-green asphalt shingles and features dormers and overhanging eaves. There is one metal stovepipe. There is one addition to the rear. Outbuildings include a barn. The original occupant may have been Capt. H.McComb, a dentist, McComb was listed as living nearby at 11 E. olive in 1900, and at this address in 1904. By 1910 he had moved. The front porch has a wooden floor. The shed roof is supported by wooden,turned posts and has decorative brackets. The two-bay fagade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance,a large fixed glass panel window and a 1/1 double-hung window above the first one. The fixed window has a diamond pattern on the top part with stained glass. The frame construction is finished in bevel siding and rests on a rubble stone foundation. A rear addition rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered in wood shingles and features dormers, overhanging eaves and a skylight on the West Side. There is a central metal stovepipe.
