Revision 1985
An outstanding, well preserved example of the Bungalow style in Bozeman, this
house is one of the several in the district attributed to local carpenter J.H.
Mimmack. Mimmack built this house, and 326 Lindley next door, another impressive
Bungalow, on what was originally one lot, probably in 1913. The house appears
to have been strongly influenced by house patterns such as "Bungalow Design
No. 3021" in Hodgson's house pattern catalog (see appendix) .
Little is known of the occupants of this house, though in 1927 George Sacre,
a driver for the Nelson Cab Co. (operated from S. Black Street) , and his wife
Susie Sacre, were living here.
