Revision 1985
This simpler well preserved Bungalow style house helps to visually terminate
the northern end of the district.
It was probably built by and for John C. Robertson, a carpenter, in 1922. Robertson,
originally a Canadian who settled in Montana in 1882, served as Bozeman's City
Marshal and Chief of Police both in the 1890 's and the early 20th century.
He probably built 323 Lindley around 1890. Robertson lived in several other.
locations in Bozeman before building this house and residing here.
