PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance, noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features. This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a hipped front porch, and a bay window on the side. The one-bay facade is symmetrical and consists of a central front entrance with 1/1 double-hung windows. The bearing wall construction is brick and features brick arches above the windows and sits on a rubble foundation. The gable roof is covered with green asphalt shingles and features a central gabled bay projecting towards the street flanked by two gabled dormers. There is a central brick chimney and another with a corbeled cap. The main axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Outbuildings include a barn. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
