PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance, noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features. This detached one-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a projecting front gable wing and enclosed shed-roofed entry porch. The two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of a side-facing front entrance with two double-hung windows of 1/1 sash arrangements. These joint in a continuous band with the two front facing windows of the entry porch. The second bay has a central double-hung window with a metal awning. The frame construction is finished in asbestos siding shingles and rests on a concrete foundation. The hipped roof with gable to the south and shed roof addition to the north is covered with green asphalt shingles and features boxed eaves and overhanging eaves. There are two central brick chimneys. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman' s historic/architectural development.
