This typical, hip roofed, pattern book house is well preserved overall, with
the exception of the asbestos shingle siding and the enlosure of the porch.
It was built around 1912, and was perhaps first occupied by Frederick Culloden,
an insurance salesman who lived here through the 19'teen. By 1927, Mrs. Elizabeth
Hohendorff was living here with three childred: Annie Hohendorff, a "domestic",Fred Hohendorff, a metal worker for the D.H. Budd plumbing and heating company,
and Citelia Hohendorff, a stenographer. This house replaced an earlier one on
this site.
