Although not the original occupant, Frank L. Perkins, at various times a road
supervisor, contractor, grading contractor, and railroad contractor, and his
family, occupied this house from about the turn of the century and into the
1940's. The house is a well preserved example of a very simple, vernacular,
19th century worker's house. Perkins' son, Earl C. , and his wife, Adella Perkins,
also lived here.
