HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted in this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning persons or events associated with this property. Significance: This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman's historic/architectural development. I 433 N. Tracy Ave. 1985 Revision Matt Cohen An excellent example of the Bungalow style in the context of this district, this house is wll preserved with the exception of the asbestos shingle sheathing. It was probably built in 1911 for Dr. Nelson, although no such person is listed in any city directories. The house is an important element of the district. A one story addition is to the west. The one bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of a ... front wood and glass entry, with first floor: (1/1 ,1/1 ,1/1)(multi/1) windows; second floor: (1 ,1,1) windows. The frame construction is clad in asbestos shingles, and rests on a concrete foundation scored to look like concrete block. The addition is clad in same. The gable roof is covered by cedar shingles, has a shed dormer facing east, open eaves, features globe finials at the apices, and triangular knee braces in the gable. The main axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Outbuildings include a garage to the west, with a shed roof, frame construction, and clad in clapboard siding with corner boards. Window?
