PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,

This detached one-and-one-half story single-family porch-and-gable-fronted
cottage has a square plan with an open front hip-roofed porch with three
square posts. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-
center glass-paned front entrance flanked by two fixed windows with a
1/1 sash arrangement, both on the same side. The upper half-story features
one central double-hung window with a 1/1 sash arrangement. The frame
construction is finished in drop siding, painted cream-beige with medium
brown trim. The house rests on a cut stone foundation. The gable roof is
covered with cedar shingles and has one central brick chimney: The axis
of the roof is perpendicular to the street. The porch roof is hipped.

historical information concerning persons or events associated with this
property.
Significance: This structure qualifies as contributing element within a
potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect
of the Civic Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
