Tracy Ave. Matt Cohen This very small, modest house was probably built in about 1912, and first occupied by Samuel V. Hall, ar various times a bartender and attendant of the Elk's Home. By 1927, he had moved. The house contrasts with the larger, more substantial houses that comprise the district. The fenetration of this house has recently been completely altered. The one bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-center front wood entry, with first floor: (1)(1) windows; second floor: (1) window. The frame construction is clad in drop siding, corner boards, fish scale wood shingles in the gable and rests on a cut stone foundation. The gable roof is covered by asphalt shingles, has boxed eaves, and features globe finials at the apices. The main axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. Outbuildings include a garage to the west, with a gable roof, frame construction, and clad in drop siding with corner boards; and a shed to the west, with an arched roof, metal construction, and clad in metal.
