This detached one-story single-family residence has an L-Shaped plan with a one-quarter cirri pported by two turned posts and spindle, tr n?A_, across the top. Th'e two-bay cade is symmetrical and consists of a ' glass-paned front e'ntra•nc h one fixed and two double-hung windows of a 1/1 sash arrangement. •wi't-h the door-and large fixed w•i-ndow. The frame construction sits on a foundation that is not visible. The gable roof is asphalt shingles and features boxed eaves. There is one central rSck c imney. Outbuildings include a garage. Tracy Ave. Matt Cohen One of the only two examples of this unusual house type in Bozeman, which was probably derived from a pattern book, this house is very well preserved, and is an important element in the streetscape. The house, which consists of an L-plan main block connected by a quarter-round, Queen the entrance at the central angle, was probably ntended Anne style tconstrruction over a corner lot. This house however, occupies a lot in the middle of the block. The only other example of this house type in the city, 221 S. 7th Ave. , stands on a corner lot. The one bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of a front wood and glass entry with first floor: (1)(1-1) windows. The frame construction is clad in drop siding, corner boards, imbricated wood shingles in the entry gable and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered by asphalt shingles, has boxed eaves, and features three radiating gables. The main axis of the roof is parallel to the street. Outbuildings include a garage to the west, with a gable roof, frame construction, and clad in drop siding with corner boards.
