PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials. Discuss significant architectural features.
This detached one-and-one-half story single-family, upright-and-wing residence i
has an ell-shaped plan with an enclosed front entrance vestibule in the
interior angle of the ell . The two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of
a one-story entrance bay with an off-center front entrance and two small 1/1
double-hung windows. There is a two-story gabled bay with large 1/1 double-hung
windows at each level . The frame construction is finished in masonite siding
and rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with asphalt
shingles and features overhanging eaves and a central brick chimney. Alterations
include modern materials on the exterior of the structure and the enclosed
entrance vestibule.

Of marginal architectural significance, this modest house nevertheless
maintains the scale and rythm of the streetscape. The orignial owner
may have been John Nelson, whose wi-ddw, Rosa Nelson, was listed here in
1904 and 1910.
