This typical , turn-of-the-century vernacular house may have been built
by Fred C. Jacobs, listed as a lather living at this address in 1904.
By 1910, Jacobs had moved to 423 S. Tracy, another house which he may
have built. From about 1910 through .the rest of the decade, the house
was occupied by Burton T. Squires, a rancher.
