This detached one-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan in the Bungalow style. -There is an inset open front gabled entrance porch-with parapret -
and- squared-wooden -pns-ts.--- The.two-bay•--facade is 'asymmetrical •-and consists o-f-a
side-facing entrance flanked by three windows , one fixed and two 1/1 double-hung.
The frame construction is finished in horizontal wood siding and shingles in the
gable ends. The house rests on a concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered
with asphalt shingles avid features overhanging eaves with exposed rafters. There
is a central brick chimney and the axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street.�AY

419 S. Tracy
A fine, well-preserved example of the Bungalow style in Bozeman, this
house was probably first occupied by Arthur H. Abbott, deputy Superin-
tendent of the Gallatin National Forest. Abbott later moved to 519 S. Tracy,
and Theodore R. Marley, department manager at the Chambers-Fisher
Department Store moved into this hoos.e. Marley remained into the 1940's.
