This detached two-and-one-half story single-family foursquare residence in the Classic Box style has a square plan with projecting front open porch with turned wooden columns , hipped roof and gablet. A polygonal bay projects from the south side and is topped by a hooded, balustraded balcony. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance flanked by fixed windows. The frame construction is finished in asbestos shingles and rests on a concrete foundation. The pyramidal hipped roof is covered with asphalt shingles and features hipped dormers and a center brick chimney. A shed-roofed garage is attached at the rear. . Tracy A very fine example of the "American Foursquare" house type, this house has undergone only two non-contributing alterations: the asbestos shingle sheathing, and the small balcony porch above the south bay window. The prominently located house was probably first occupied by Zachary T. Widener, of the real estate, loans and insurance company "Widener & Burket." By 1916 he had moved.
