This detached one-and-one-half story single-family residence has a rectangular
plan built in the Bungalow Style. The flare porch posts and bracketed gable end
- are characteristic of this style. . -The one-bay- facade is asymmetrical and" cons"i"sts
'of an off=center -front--entrance with 1211 double-hung and.. fi xed windows. - The
frame construction is -finished in clapboard, wood shingles and brick. The gable
roof is- covered with asphalt shinbles and features overhanging eaves with exposed
rafters The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. There is an
addition on the south side of the structure.

An excellent example of the Bungalow style despite an extensive addi-
tion to the south side. This house was probably first occupied by
Jarvis M. Flint, president and manager of the Flint-Lynn Lumber Co.
The house was built in about 1911. ; By 1927, Flint had moved, and
Arthur H. Abbott, a supervisor of the U.S. Forest Service, was living
here.
