PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structurelsite,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance,
noting additions,alterations,and changes°in materials. Discuss significant architectural features.
This one-and-one-half story single family residence has a square plan with
a recessed wrap-around porch supported by columns with corbel work., The
diagonal front entry is approached by diagonal corner steps leading to a
diagonal walk to the front sidewalk. Windows are double-hung and casement
with a variety of pane numbers. The frame construction is finished at
three levels with common brick coursing, bevel siding, and shingles. The
hipped roof has tapered eaves and hipped-and shed-roofed dormers. It is
covered with cedar shingles and features an interior and an exterior brick
chimney. The siding just above the foundation is flared. Outbuildings
include a garage with a new addition done in the same style and details
as the house.

persons or events associated with this property.
This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic
district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic
Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
