This detached two-story single-family residence has a squre plan with three fluted porch columns and a pediment on the porch. The one-bay facade is- asymmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance with `Fixed and 1/1 double-hung windows. - The 'frame construction i-s finished in weatherboard with shingles- i-n the gable ends and rests- on.-a-.concrete- foundation. The- hipped- roof is -covered with aspfTalt" shingles and features -overhanging eaves and a central brick chimney. Svorkmoe. This house was certainly built by him as well .. The design appears to have been closely based on "House Design No. 1061" in Fred T. Hodgson's turn of the century mail order house pattern catalog: Practical Bungalows and Cottages for Town and Country (see appendix) . No early occupants of the house have been identified. In 1927, the house was listed as "vacant. " Bibliography Hodgson.
