Tracy This very simple early 20th century house was built by John A. Bartholomew, a local carpenter who built several houses in this district. Though considerably less ornate than Bartholomew's other houses, the simple detailing of this house is consistent with the historic continuity of the streetscape. Early residents have not been identified. Ernest A. Peterson, a lawyer, lived here in 1927, and into the 1930's. Like most of Bartholomew' s houses, this one appears to have been derived from Hodgson' s house pattern catalog, in this case, "House Design No. 3018" (see appendix) .
