Tracy This unique house demonstrates the tremendous flexibility of the Bungalow style with its organic design that makes full use of -the steep grade of the site. Though the present, large garage addition on the south has altered the original design, it is likely that a garage was originally built into the bank, below grade. The com- pressed, clustered columns of the porch emphasize the height of the living space of the house, atop the steep bank. This house, like several in the district, was built by local house carpenter, John A. Bartholomew, probably in 1915. Early residents are unknown. In 1927, J. Edward Daniels, a chiropractor, was living here. Bibliography Application for Water Service, April 5, 1915, J. Bartholomew. Application for Sewer Connection, April 5, 1915, J. Bartholomew.
