This detached one-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a flat roofed front porch with gable overdoor and solid railing . The one-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-center front entrance with 1/1 double hung windows, outlined with brick in a decorative pattern. The frame construction is finished in stucco and rests on a concrete foundation outlined with brick. The gable roof is covered with cedar shingles and features overhanging eaves and a central brick chimney. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. Outbuildings include a one-bay garage . Black One of the most significant examples of the Bungalow style in Bozeman, this stuccoed house has quoined brick trim at the corners, and around all windows and doors. The full front porch has very distinctive, full-height, battered, stuccoed posts , spanned by a solid, stuccoed apron. The house is one of a group= of four houses of comparable architectural significance. The house may have been built by John D. Clark, whose name appears on the 1920 Sewer Permit for this site. By 1927 and into the 1940's , Thomas McCluskey, a traveling salesman, lived here, with his wife, Elizabeth H. McCluskey.
