Tracy This unique, T-plan, load-bearing brick house may have been built as part of the building boom triggered by the arrival of the railroad in 1883. Though the original porch has , unfortunately, been replaced, the house is nevertheless significant for its age, uniqueness of form, and good overall state of preservation. By 1910 the house was occupied by Henry Nelson, listed as a laborer. Nelson was probably a member of the family that ran the "Nelson Bros. " I livery and cab line from 320 S. Black. Later occupants have included Nelson M. Baverly in 1916, and Sigvald Hanson in 1927. Baverly was part owner of the firm, "Levesque, Felsheim & Baverly" - 'contractors and proprietors of the Bozeman Manufacturing Co. Baverly built 529 S. Black around 1920, and moved into it. Sigvald Hanson was a carpenter. Bibliography Application for Sewer Connection, October 25, 1909, John Bartholomew; E.T. Rich ("owner" ; plumber) .
