This typical , vernacular pattern book house was probably built
around 1908 by "Doc Nelson" . In 1910, Frank Nelson, of the "Nelson
Bros." livery and cab company cr:ginally located next door at 370 S.
Black, was the resident. "Mach Nelson & McCay" were also listed here
in 1910. The house is well-preserved, with the exception of the porch,
of which only the original roof remains preserved.
