This detached two-story single-family residence has an irregular plan with a hipped front porch across the front supported by wrought iron supports. The one-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an off-center front entrance with fixed and 1/1 double-hung windows, with a 16" section of leaded glass in the upper part of the fixed window. The frame construction is finished in wood shingles with imbricated shingles in the gable ends. It rests on a rubble foundation. The gable roof is covered with green-grey asphalt shingles and has a central brick chimney. The axis of the main roof is perpendicular to the street with an intersecting gable bay to one side. Outbuildings include a two-bay garage. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance.
