This load-bearing brick house was built by John , probably soon
after his settlement in Bozeman from New York in 1891. The house
style around 1920 from the second
was remodeled to the Bungalow
floor up. The brick first floor , with its tall , segmental arched
M windows and door, evidence the age of the structure. Stylistic
was the work of local
detailing of the upper floor suggests it
builder, John A. Bartholomew.
