This unusual house, which would be individually eligible for the
National Register were it not for the newly replaced gable window
and the south dormer windows, is an excellent example of the Bungalow
style, that shows some Queen Anne style influence. It was apparently
built by Amos E. Everett, though Everett is not listed in the 1912
or 1916 city directories. In 1910, Everett was listed as the manager of
the Montana Tract Society (an organization associated with the Seventh
Day Adventist Church) , and living at 1116 W. Babcock.
