PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Describe present appearance of structure/site,then contrast and compare that with it's original appearance, noting additions,alterations,and changes in materials.Discuss significant architectural features. This detached two-story single-family residence has a rectangular plan with a recessed corner porch on one side of the front facade and a gabled bay extension on the other side. The two-bay facade is asymmetrical and consists of an offset front entrance with fixed and double-hung windows with diagonal windows in the front bay section. The frame construction is finished in 2" beveled siding and shingles in the' gable ends. The structure rests on a low concrete foundation. The gable roof is covered with red asphalt shingles and features four dormers and overhanging eaves with exposed rafters and knee braces. The axis of the roof is perpendicular to the street. Outbuildings include an attached garage. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Justify how the persons,important events,and/or historical patterns associated with the structure/site and surrounding area lend the property significance. Research in the sources consulted with this survey has not yielded any significant historical information concerning events or persons associated with this property. This structure qualifies as a contributing element within a potential historic district due to its association with the residential aspect of the Civic Phase of Bozeman 's historic/architectural development.
